A5 Triplicate NCR Forms — 3 Part
An NCR pad gets used in an abundance of daily scenarios. In a busy office environment, on a knee in a van, on a counter with a queue forming. It has to work first time, every time — and on a three part set that demand goes up, because the pressure of a biro has to carry all the way through to the third sheet and still leave a copy somebody can read. Getting a clean bottom sheet is the difference between a working form and a wasted one.
Our A5 3 part forms are printed and finished in-house on genuine carbonless NCR stock — white top sheet, yellow middle, pink bottom — in runs from just 2 pads. Choose glued pads with a greyboard back, or perforated books when the copy needs to stay bound in for your records.
Who is this for?
Three part is the answer when three people need the same piece of paper. One copy leaves with the customer, one goes to whoever carries out the work, and one comes back to the office — and nobody has to photocopy anything.
Jewellers use them for repair intake, so the customer holds a receipt while the workshop docket travels with the item and accounts keep the third. Garages split paperwork between customer, workshop and office. Distilleries, manufacturers and warehousing operations use them wherever stock moves between departments and each step needs its own record. Facilities and home services firms give the engineer a copy, the client a copy, and file the third. If only two parties need paperwork, our A5 2 Part range does the same job for less.
How does this compare to our other NCR forms?
The choice is about how many people hold a record, not about quality — every set is printed on the same stock to the same standard. A5 2 Part gives one copy, this gives two. If the form needs detailed tables, a full terms page or more room to write, the same options run in A4 3 Part. Our 2 part vs 3 part guide works through it properly, and we print 4 part sets to order if you need a fourth copy.

Pads or books — which do I need?
Pads are glued at the head into pads of 50 sets with a greyboard back. All three sheets tear out together, so they suit anything where the copies are distributed to different people or departments.
Books are perforated, stapled and taped into books of 50 sets. The sheets tear out along the perforation and the bottom copy stays bound in the book — the format to choose when the book itself is your permanent record, as with receipt books, accident books and waste transfer notes.

Need a quantity above 20 pads? Quotations are available on request for higher volumes, and the unit cost drops considerably as the run grows. Larger runs are always worth pricing rather than ordering repeatedly in small batches.
Need something not listed? Bespoke sizes, DL and A6 formats, 4 part sets, alternative paper colours and collation orders, wrap-around printed covers, perforated tear-off stubs and books numbered in sequence across a whole batch are all routine work for us — none of it is on the dropdowns.
In a hurry? Standard turnaround is 3-4 working days. Because everything is produced here rather than sent out, we can usually turn urgent NCR work around considerably faster — tell us your deadline and we will give you a straight answer.

What is NCR paper?
NCR stands for No Carbon Required. The back of a sheet carries microscopic capsules of dye; the face of the sheet below carries a clay coating that reacts to it. Pen pressure bursts the capsules and the mark transfers instantly. On a three part set the top sheet is coated on the back (CB), the middle sheet is coated on both sides (CFB) so it can receive a mark and pass it on, and the bottom sheet is coated on the front (CF). That middle sheet is what makes triplicate work.
Can I have my forms numbered?
Yes. Select Numbering Required and each set is printed with its own sequential number, carried across all three parts so the copies can be matched back together later. That is standard practice for invoices, repair dockets and anything needing an audit trail. Tell us the start number when you order, and if you reorder we can continue the sequence from where the last batch finished.
What are the drilled holes for?
Two or four holes let the sets be filed straight into a ring binder or lever arch file once they are torn out — particularly useful on three part work, where the office copy usually goes into a folder rather than a box. The drill is positioned clear of your content, so keep important detail away from the binding edge.
What is the lead time for this product?
Typical timescale is 3-4 working days depending on the quantity required. If you have a specific deadline, get in touch — we'll always tell you honestly whether we can hit it.
What are my delivery options?
We send our parcels via courier on a next day service within the UK. If you are in a remote area of the UK, please allow 48hr deliveries. If you are local to us, you can simply click and collect from our studio.
